The Hold Steady guys were in Omaha and so was I. Missed them.
Four of the five band members are from the Twin Cities. They're based in Brooklyn now.
"Stay Positive" is their latest effort. Best CD I purchased in 2008. They're new live CD, "A Positive Rage" just dropped.

I love these guys... Craig Finn writes some of the most amazing (and seriously under-rated) lyrics I've heard in a long time. Glad you turned me on to them a couple of years back, homie. I'm going to try to go see them in Sacramento next week.
