Video Friday (Influences, 1979)

There are those years that are important, musically, for every generation. Those who came of age in the 60s had the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
As a teenager in the 70s, I was bombarded by a lot of crap (remember disco?)
But it all kind of came together in 1979, the year I entered high school.
Ahhhh, 1979. The Knack, Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, B-52's I could go on. But instead of typing, give a listen, watch.
Musical influences on a young ThomG, circa 1979, your Video Friday:

"Good Girls Don't," The Knack

"Confusion," ELO

"Highway to Hell," AC/DC

"Is She Really Going Out With Him?" Joe Jackson

"A Message to You, Rudy," The Specials

"Let's Go," Cars

"Accidents Will Happen," Elvis Costello & The Attractions

"Rock Lobster," B-52's
