Video Friday (The Cramps, a Tribute)

Founder and lead singer of The Cramps, Lux Interior, died Wednesday of a heart ailment. He was 62.
(Christ, what does that say about the rest of us aging punkers?)
The Cramps style was twangy and fun. It was sex and clever puns. Interior and his wife, Poison Ivy (who legend has it he picked up as a hitchhiker in 1975) rocked the New York punk scene in the 70s and 80s.
The Cramps gave us "psychobilly."
They once held a concert in a mental facility.
Instead of a moment of silence, turn you speakers to 11 and remember Lux Interior and The Cramps:

"Tear It Up"

"Live at the Napa State Mental Hospital"

"Goo Goo Muck"

"Human Fly"

"Bikini Girls With Machine Guns"
