Video Friday (The Waitresses)

There's a lot I could say right now, but it would come out confused, hurt and angry. That was my Thursday. Another defeat, which are beginning to pile up.

Anyway, it's not worth going into. Because I can't change it.

So howsa 'bout we go deep into the 80s video vault for one of my all-time MTV favorites.
The Waitresses were a "New Wave" band from Ohio, led by singer Patty Donahue. Sadly, Patty died of lung cancer in 1996.

But here's The Waitresses with their 1982 hit, "I Know What Boys Like:"

Oh, what the hell. This is how I really feel; The Replacements, "Goddamn Job:"

Hi there, Uncle E sent me after noticing I posted about The Waitresses' Bruiseology album earlier this week. Must be Waitresses vibes floating around.

Anyway, that video is a classic, although I love the "Make the Weather" video (and song) even more.

Nice blog, by the way!
